Have you ever thought to yourself as your creating a password? Is it a safe password? Will it be a strong one, so hackers don’t guess your password? Here are some tips when creating a strong password.
- Make sure your password is long. Your password should be more than 12 characters.
- Remember to use a mix of characters. Do not just use all upper or low case letters. Use a mixture of upper and lower case letters. Also, use some numbers and symbols. The stronger a password is, the harder it is for a hacker to crack it.
- Avoid using common words or phrases. Can your password be found in the dictionary? EX FRIEND or goingtothemall
- Do not use a common keyboard path. Just like the advice above, do not use letters, numbers, or symbols in a row. EX tyui, now8765

If you have a hard time remember your passwords, then I would recommend using a password management app.
DASHLAND has a free plan which includes up to 50 passwords, 1 device, form & payment autofill, and much more.
